Sun City - The Hotels

As we’ve mentioned, Sun City is home to 4 outstanding hotels as well as the time share Vacation Club:

The Vacation Club: Located behind the entertainment centre the Vacation Club offers self catering family units available through leading timeshare groups.

The Cabanas: The Cabanas are the most relaxed and casual of all the hotels at Sun City, offering informal yet comfortable accommodation and the most friendly on the pocket of all the hotels. The rooms start at around R2000 per night (for 2 adults) although prices do depend on the season and availability.

The Sun City Hotel: The Sun City Hotel is situated in the centre of the resort and boasts both glamour and old world charm. It is the only hotel to offer a casino, nightclub and theatre inside. Rooms also average around R2500 per night upwards (for 2 adults) depending on season and availability.

The Cascades: Set amidst magnificent gardens and right across from the Entertainment Centre, the Cascades hotel is impressive and luxurious in an understated way. Rooms start at around R2800 per night (for 2 adults) depending on season and availability. Even if you don’t stay here, ride the glass elevator to the top floor for a spectacular panoramic view of all of Sun City.

The Palace of the Lost City: Sun City’s crown jewel, this magnificent hotel towers high above the rest of the resort and overlooks the valley of the waves as well as the surrounding mountain ranges. It is pure opulence from start to finish although many would argue that at R5500 per standard room per night it is a bit excessive. For the room, maybe but not for the entire experience which is magnificent. You have to stay here at least once in your lifetime!
