Sun City - The Food

As you would expect from this calibre of resorts, there are a plethora of dining options through the resort. Each of the 4 hotels boast restaurants and bistros and the entertainment centre is packed to the hilt with both restaurant and fast food options and where to go really comes down to what your taste buds are calling for and where you are in the resort. So based on that our recommendations would be:
The Entertainment Centre - Something Affordable but good: In general the food at Sun City is not that reasonable unless you visit old favourites like Wimpy or the Fishmonger found in the food court at the Entertainment Centre. Another great option is Squires Grill which is on the higher side of affordable but serves up great meals whether you’d like something meaty or seafood, it’s all good.
The Palace - Expensive, Exclusive, Divine: Head towards The Palace of the Lost City for world class refined dining and there are TOO MANY options to mention, all of which are simply magnificent. Visit The Villa Del Palazzo for sumptuous Italian food (mains at R250 and up per head). Or for a romantic experience try The Gazebo, its sure to delight. Breakfast at the Crystal Court are also superb although you are paying for what you get at R180 per person.
The Sun City Hotel: The Calabash at the Sun City Hotel serves traditional African food including a variety of potjies and pap. Most dishes are meat based. Alternatively try The Orchid for Asian cuisine that is simply to die for…the sushi is a must!
The Cascades: The Peninsula Restaurant overlooks the gardens and water features and offers a variety of international dishes from a buffet. For a more relaxed dining experience and Mediterranean cuisine visit Santorini which is set below the waterfall in the grotto.
